The photo was taken last December when snow was falling for days and everywhere was just a powdery paradise. Fast forward six months later, wildfires are burning all over British Columbia taking down buildings and houses. Thousands of people, families forced out of their homes and some are not even sure if they'll have a home to return to. As bad as it is, at least it's not as terrible as the Fort McMurray fire last year. That was one expensive disaster. Also, it looked like Hell if you saw videos of people driving out of there.
